Joseph Choi is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer driven by the realism and psychology of visual storytelling. He received a BA from UCLA and has studied at the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC), earning several certificates learning from renowned cinematographers such as Wally Pfister ASC, Newton Thomas Sigel ASC, Dan Mindel ASC, Shelly Johnson ASC, Alice Brooks ASC, and Michael Goi ASC, among many others. His recent film, EN POINTE, won Best Cinematography at the Burbank International Film Festival.
Member of the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE Local 600).
Associate Member of the Society of Camera Operators (SOC).
